Montana Holmes, LMFT

My kind of therapy is warm, compassionate, and friendly. I want our therapeutic relationship to be built on openness and transparency.

Together we will work meaningfully toward rewriting unhelpful narratives, building solutions, and developing a plan to get you moving in the right direction.

When we meet, you can expect a blending of your life expertise with my professional expertise for a hope-filled and purposeful conversation.

Many of my clients are women dealing with a variety of concerns. Sometimes it is career related and our attention is focused on finding a work/life balance, defining your career, or managing the stress of a demanding job. Other times it is related to self-criticism and unhelpful narratives about who you are and what you can be. We might work on increasing self-compassion and learning how to show yourself some love. I also work closely with women managing their responsibilities as a mother, wife, and provider. We often will work on re-defining roles and responsibilities and work toward bringing peace to your day-to-day.

I love working with couples and I feel honored to be invited into the conversation. When two people choose to share a life together there are the inevitable "good times and bad." At some point in the relationship, it might be helpful to talk-out the bad times with a therapist and be reminded of the good. Most couples repair in unique ways and need a therapist who is creative and willing to experiment with what might be helpful. Whatever the circumstance bringing you to therapy, I will create a space that helps you be vulnerable and work on strengthening your relationship.
